Meta Kuwait Portal (meta.e.gov.kw) is the centralized digital appointment platform launched by the Government of Kuwait. It lets citizens and residents book online appointments with over 30 government agencies — including the Ministry of Interior, PACI, Ministry of Health, and the General Department of Personal Identification — instead of waiting in long queues at offices.

The portal is free, requires no app download (though it integrates with Sahel), and is accessible with just your 12-digit Civil ID number and a password you set during registration.

💡 Most common reason people use Meta: to book the mandatory biometric fingerprinting (face + fingerprints + iris) — required for all residents aged 18+. Walk-ins are not accepted at biometric centers, so Meta or Sahel booking is the only path.

How to register on Meta Kuwait (step by step)

Where to find the Civil ID Serial Number

This trips up most first-time users. The Serial Number is NOT the 12-digit Civil ID number printed boldly on the front.

Flip your Kuwait Civil ID card over. On the back you'll find a smaller alphanumeric code (typically 9 to 10 characters, often near the bottom or top edge). That's the Serial Number Meta asks for during registration.

If you can't find it or the print is faded, take a clear photo of the back of the card and zoom in. You can also visit any PACI branch to get the serial number printed for you.
