⚠️ Common Kuwait job scams to avoid
🚨 Never pay anyone for a job offer. Legitimate Kuwait employers and recruitment agencies do NOT charge job seekers. If someone asks for "visa fees", "training fees", or "processing fees" before you start work — it's a scam.
Fake visa offers — Random WhatsApp messages with "Kuwait visa 100% guaranteed for KD 500" are 100% scams
Free Visa scam — "Free Visa" jobs are illegal; you can't legally enter Kuwait without a sponsor
Identity theft — Don't send passport photos to unverified recruiters
Salary mismatch — Confirm salary in writing BEFORE signing. Verify on pam.gov.kw after arrival
Passport withholding — Illegal in Kuwait. Refuse if employer demands passport custody
💡 Verify any employer: Check their commercial license at moci.gov.kw. Real Kuwait companies have a clear physical office, registered Civil ID, and PAM/MOSAL registration.
Top 6: Bayt (#1 GCC), LinkedIn Kuwait (corporate), Indeed Kuwait (volume), GulfTalent (premium), Naukri Gulf (South Asian), Glassdoor (reviews + salaries). For oil & gas also try Rigzone and OilCareers.
